It is the time of the year for gifts, and as you will see below, awards. We are proud to be recognized by our peers for the good work that happens here. Some of these award-winners are students or young faculty with a bright future. Their national visibility attracts students to study with us and helps graduates move forward fast in their careers. This is what good education should do.
2022 is the 50th anniversary of the College, and there will be many celebrations both College-wide and for the departments. To check for the latest on events, visit our CPACS Celebrates 50 Years site. The first major event will be the CPACS Alumni Award event on February 17 at the Thompson Alumni Center. Keep your eyes peeled on Facebook and LinkedIn to hear who the award winners are. We will also honor the award winners from 2020 and 2021, as we were unable to celebrate these awards in person.
My best wishes to you and your family for the holidays, and for the new year.
John R. Bartle, Ph.D.
