Dear Faculty,
In conjunction with UCLA’s Higher Education Research Institute (HERI), UNO is participating in the 2022 HERI Faculty Survey to collect feedback about the faculty experience at UNO. The HERI Faculty Survey helps us systematically assess faculty attitudes and opinion. The HERI Faculty Survey also allows us to compare UNO’s results to comparable institutions. The campus as a whole, and especially Academic Affairs, will utilize the results as part of UNO’s ongoing quality improvement efforts.
Please support UNO’s Quality improvement efforts by completing the HERI Faculty Survey. By next week, you will receive an email from the Higher Education Research Institute (HERI) inviting you to participate. The UNO HERI Faculty Survey will be available from October 17 to November 11. The survey will take approximately 25 minutes to complete.
The HERI Faculty Survey is an anonymous survey; you will not be asked any identifying information. The Higher Education Research Institute will request your email address for future follow-up, but you are not obligated to submit this information, and your email address is not linked to the survey results in any form. Your response is voluntary, and your confidentiality is assured. No one at UNO is able to see any identifiable results.
If you have any questions regarding the HERI Faculty Survey, please contact jgutheilbykerk@unomaha.edu
Thank you in advance for supporting this endeavor. Your input is critical.
Sincerely,
Deborah Smith-Howell
Interim Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs
