Dear Colleagues,

Excellent and dedicated faculty define a university. It is my distinct pleasure to share with the campus community faculty who have recently been promoted, and in many cases, tenured. Promotion in faculty rank signifies recognition and acknowledgement by one’s peers of sustained excellence in teaching, research and creative activity, and service. Indeed, it is an important milestone in the career of a faculty member. I am also pleased to acknowledge faculty with sustained records of outstanding service to the campus community or discipline.  I extend my gratitude for the impact this group has made through their dedication to our students and their success. Please join me in congratulating these faculty – our colleagues – whose work has fostered student learning and success and has contributed to making UNO a vibrant and engaged metropolitan institution.
