New Templates for Academic Programs or Units

Processes for creating, modifying, and deleting academic programs or units are designed to ensure that programs are aligned with university strategic priorities, support the originating academic unit’s mission, comply with university policy and operations, and are sustainable with available resources. The Provost’s Office has released new templates for proposing new academic programs or organizational units and these templates have been incorporated into the Guidebook and updated on the curriculum website. If you have already started a proposal that is moving through your college approval process, feel free to continue that process with the current form. If you are starting a new proposal, you’ll likely find these updated templates more clear and concise than the former versions. Questions? Please contact Sarah Edwards.
