Animated Evenings at Bak Join us for the final program of the Animated Evenings at Bak on Thursday, July 13 from 7 to 8 P.M. The film series, Traces: Portraits of Resistance, Survival and Resolve, ends with My Father's War.
My Father's War explores the hereditary trauma of the Holocaust and offers an intergenerational conversation across decades. Samuel Bak's paintings showcase a world tenuously rebuilt and the struggle to understand the shoah. Our Discussion will compare how both the film and Bak's paintings grapple with memory, trauma, and reconstruction.
Maximum capacity is 70 and RSVP is required. MavGrants transitions to NuRamp The OSP module in the MavGrants platform was the last module left to transition to the NuRamp platform, which occurred on June 12, 2023. Office of Engagement (OE) Highlights and Updates This year, we are celebrating 25 years of amazing service learning at UNO. The celebration kicked off with the UNO Service Learning Academy (SLA) annual Service Learning Showcase – and a special edition newsletter. The newsletter features a timeline of service learning at UNO, stories about these partnerships, and demonstrates impact. This semester the OE also worked with multiple faculty throughout campus to identify activities of community engagement – adding to the partnerships we showcase in the Community Engagement Partnership Initiative (CEPI). Thank you to the faculty who helped support this effort this spring and in previous years. More announcements to come this Fall of 2022. If you have questions about CEPI, please contact us at partnerships@unomaha.edu.
