All updates, changes and additions are done in the system at the college and/or unit levels, and representatives are responsible for ensuring that all content has been submitted, reviewed, and approved before forwarding for final processing. Faculty Development Fellowships
FDFs are an opportunity for faculty to focus and reinvigorate their research or creative activity program. Recommendations for 2025-26 FDFs are due from the colleges to Academic Affairs by Fri, 10/11. Additional information was shared with the colleges in August.

Emeritus Recommendations
Does your department have faculty who will soon be retiring? Emeritus recommendations for faculty retiring midyear in December are due November 15. For additional information on eligibility for emeritus and the recommendation process, see the Emeritus folder in the College Resources SharePoint site. Questions? Spring 2025 Part-time Faculty

Celebrating Research and Creative Activity at UNO
September 25 is National Research Administrators Day. Research administrators serve a critical role in assisting the facilitation of research at UNO and the University of Nebraska system. Join the Office of Research and Creative Activity (ORCA) in thanking these individuals.
What is a wicked student, and how can we create them, and why does this matter? Paul Hanstedt, author of Creating Wicked Students: Designing Courses for a Complex World, will present his insights regarding how general education and other courses can be designed to address the complex and evolving challenges of our world. Hanstedt's presentation will be followed by a discussion led by UNO faculty members.
