NEW! Student Technology Module
A new template has been added to our Canvas Design Studio course. The template is a technology resource hub for students who are new to online learning, or just need a refresher. This template works well for faculty who utilize the branching navigation home page, or just want to give students additional help on how to operate in Canvas. This template is available for you to import into your course via Canvas Commons by searching "Canvas Design Studio Student Resource Module"!
UNO will be moving to a new video platform during the 2022-2023 academic school year. Although we will miss VidGrid, we are excited about the features available within YuJa and the new possibilities it will bring to our academic technology toolkit! Please note that VidGrid will be available through the end of the Spring 2023 semester as we work through the transition and migration process. Although VidGrid is available, we encourage you to begin using YuJa whenever you are comfortable. YuJa is now available in the navigation bar of your Canvas courses!
To help you make the transition to YuJa as smooth as possible, Digital Learning will begin offering YuJa Basic training sessions in the month of August. The list of trainings are listed below; you can register for them here.
Monday (8/8), 2:00-3:00pm
Thursday (8/11), 2:00-3:00pm
Wednesday (8/17), 10:30-11:30pm
If you'd like one-on-one help, individuals can schedule a YuJa walkthrough with a member of the Digital Learning team through our bookings website or stop by our Virtual Drop-in room with your quick questions!
In addition, a trainer in YuJa will also be offering beginner and intermediate training sessions (45 minutes of training and 15 minutes for Q&A) in the months of August and September. The list of trainings and zoom links can be found here.
