YuJa Panorama
What is it?
UNO has licensed YuJa Panorama for a 1-year trial. Panorama is a tool that helps faculty members identify accessibility issues in any documents included in their course and any accessibility issues in the course itself. In addition, Panorama provides students with on-demand alternative formats of the content provided in the courses they are taking (pdf, podcast, braille, etc.). As we are still learning the product and considering the best way to roll out Panorama, we are giving UNO faculty an opportunity to try it out! To learn more about Panorama, check out the videos and resources below:
To explore Panorama, fill out this Panorama form and include the link to a live course you're interested in exploring panorama with. Digital learning will make a copy of your course and give you access to Panorama for that course copy!
As you prepare for the fall term, use the following resources to help you get started, especially the beginning of the semester checklist to make sure you're all ready to go!
We are less than a month away from our contract ending with VidGrid on June 30th, 2023. In preparation, YuJa has been swapping VidGrid links and videos with YuJa links and videos in all Canvas courses. Note: there were a few small issues related to page names, captions, and thumbnail images when swapping out videos and links in courses prior to the Spring 2023 semester. Please select the more Information button below for additional details.
NOTE: If you have VidGrid videos created on web pages or outside of Canvas courses, you'll want to ensure you swap out the VidGrid videos before the end of June to ensure it is accessible for everyone. For help with how to access YuJa Links and Embed Codes, check out this YuJa Tech Tip Video.
