| View in browser Greetings! We hope this newsletter finds you in high spirits as you're now over one month into the spring semester! We know you're busy, but we hope you find time to join us at one of our many workshops this month, and that you save the date for our annual Digital Learning Showcase in May.   In this newsletter you'll find information about our Digital Learning Showcase, March workshops, NEW Humanizing Online course, and two tech tips featuring information about creating groups and assigning activities to individual sections or students in Canvas.  Tech Tips of the Month In this month's tech tip, we will discuss how you can assign quizzes, assignments, and discussions to specific sections/people and how you can set-up groups in Canvas. The Office of Digital Learning will be hosting our annual Digital Learning Showcase virtually on Tuesday, May 10th, from 2:00-4:30p.m. Click on the button below to learn more about this year's showcase! Learn More Here! We are currently looking for faculty who are interested in delivering a 20 minute presentation over topics that highlight key practices related to digital course activities. We are especially interested in proposals that highlight impactful practices related to the 3-week January session. Faculty presenters will receive a $100 stipend for their time. Introduction to New Quizzes Thursday, March 3rd, 1:00-2:00p.m. New Quizzes is a feature in Canvas that will be replacing Classic Canvas in the upcoming years. Come learn how New Quizzes works, what features it brings, and how to enable them to try it out in your current courses. Register to Learn About the New Feature! Building Your Toolkit for Inclusive Learning Wednesday, March 23, 9:00-10:30a.m. Join CFE, Digital Learning, and Accessibility Services for a workshop based around creating an inclusive learning environment in your classroom. Our last session will focus on seeing inclusive practices in action! Click Here to Register for Session 4! Tips for Teaching Online: Practical Advice from Instructors Wednesday, March 23, 10:00-11:00a.m. The Office of Digital Learning is partnering with UNO faculty to share practical advice on mastering your online course.  Join us for tips and a conversation on teaching effective online courses. Register to Learn Tips and Tricks! Humanizing Online The Office of Digital Learning will be offering a NEW 3-week Humanizing Online course from March 7-27. The  course is dedicated to creating an engaging, equitable, and inclusive online class. Faculty who participate and complete the course will receive a $300 stipend. Reserve Your Seat Today!
