Setting a Default Due Date Time
For some faculty, the default due date time of 11:59pm may not work. Canvas now allows you to set your own default time by the hour. To learn how to change your default due date time on assignments, click on the colorful calendar image.
Formatting Change to 'Edit Assignment Due Dates' Function
Updating assignment due dates at one time is a popular tool faculty like to use. However, we've noticed a change in formatting that may have changed the way you see it displayed. Click the black and white calendar for a video that shows the difference, and 2 ways to potentially fix it.
Message Students Who...
'Message students who' is a quick and easy way to contact students through the Gradebook for a variety of reasons. Click on the envelope image to learn about when and how to use it from the Canvas Community!

UNO will be moving to a new video platform during the 2022-2023 academic school year. Although we will miss VidGrid, we are excited about the features available within YuJa and the new possibilities it will bring to our academic technology toolkit! Please note that VidGrid will be available through the end of the Spring 2023 semester as we work through the transition and migration process. Although VidGrid is available, we encourage you to begin using YuJa whenever you are comfortable. YuJa is now available in the navigation bar of your Canvas courses!
If you'd like one-on-one help, individuals can schedule a YuJa walkthrough with a member of the Digital Learning team through our bookings website or stop by our Virtual Drop-in room with your quick questions!
