UNO STRENGTHS COACH HIGHLIGHT
Dustin Wolfe Director, Student Involvement
We asked Dustin to highlight one of his Top 5 themes and how he uses it every day. Here's what he said:
My Top 5 themes are:
Activator
Belief
Responsibility
Command
Communication
In my day-to-day duties, I am often called upon to utilize my Communication theme. I value solid communication and find great power in sharing stories with those that I work with on a regular basis. This theme helps me explain our role in Student Involvement to current and incoming students, while sharing with them the benefits of being involved during their time at UNO.
Getting involved on-campus is one of the many ways that you can use your Strengths. Student organizations, like Student Government and Maverick Productions, build leadership skills through Strengths. If you havenβt already, think about a student organization (or two!) that you want to get involved in during your time at UNO, and how you can use your Strengths to learn and grow as a participant in a particular organization.
Head to Presence to explore all of UNO's involvement opportunities.
