On Wednesday night, Norfolk's Mike Flood was declared the winner in the race for Nebraska's 1st Congressional District, beating out Patty Pansing Brooks in a re-match of their June special election race.

AP has called Iowa's 3rd Congressional District for Zach Nunn, who defeats incumbent Cindy Axne.

Nebraska’s second congressional district map is different, but Republican incumbent Don Bacon will once again represent the district. He defeated Democratic challenger Tony Vargas who has conceded.

Initiative 433 has passed in Nebraska which will gradually increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2026.
Initiative 432 has passed in Nebraska which will require a photo ID for voting in elections.
Amendment 1 has passed in Nebraska which allows local governments to spend on developing commercial airline services.
Iowans have voted to add a right to keep and bear arms into the state constitution, a move that will make it more difficult to pass gun restrictions and easier to strike down existing gun laws.

Republican Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds won a second full term Tuesday, campaigning on a record of tax cuts and conservative handling of the state's economy to defeat Democrat Deidre DeJear.

Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley was elected to an eighth term Tuesday, defeating Democrat Michael Franken and putting himself in position to be the Senate’s most senior member.
