The Only in Nebraska campaign is a historic effort to create transformational change through the philanthropic support of students, faculty, academics, and research to address the needs of the state. With a fundraising goal of $40M, the UNO College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences will:

  1. Focus on student access and success through major growth in scholarships.
  2. Enhance faculty and academic excellence through newly created endowed faculty chairs and professorships.
  3. Further research and innovation through the expansion and renovation of existing campus spaces.

H&K Researchers Win UNeMed's Most Promising New Invention Award

Associate Professor Dr. Song-young Park and Doctoral Research Assistant Cody Anderson received the award for developing a system for easily measuring blood pressure in real-time through wearable electronic devices like smart watches. This is the second year in a row the award has been given to CEHHS researchers.
