AI Educator’s Toolkit: Exploring GPTs in the Classroom
Consider the CREATE framework to guide your teaching. Developed by Dr. Kelly Gomez Johnson (Chair of the Teacher Education Department), CREATE is designed to empower both instructors and students.
UNO Enrollment Days are designed to get more students enrolled for the upcoming semester as soon as possible. Students who enroll early get the best selection of courses and students are less likely to encounter wait lists.
Enrollment Days signs and table tents will soon be on display across campus and an announcement will appear in all Canvas courses. These messages will prompt students to:
1) Prepare to enroll (check the schedule, review their degree audit)
2) Meet with an advisor (make appointments via MavCONNECT if applicable)
4) Review how to enroll, search for classes, and add classes to their carts
Faculty can reinforce the Enrollment Days campaign by drawing students’ attention to the Enrollment Days messages, helping them understand the benefits of enrolling as soon as they are eligible, and directing them to theenrollment schedule.
In fall 2024, UNO’s Care Team responded to over 1,000 reports generated by faculty, staff, and students and included academic and non-academic concerns. This represents UNO’s commitment to student success. If you have a concern about a student do not hesitate to use the Care Team report form to communicate this to the Care Team. You can learn more about the Care Team and its members on their webpage.
