UNO’s Office of Student Legal Services (SLS) provides free legal advice, consultations, and representation for currently enrolled students. Attorney and paralegal support helps students resolve legal issues so they can continue their journey to graduation.

UNO recently received the Carnegie Classification for Community Engagement – a national recognition of our commitment to public service, partnerships, and impact. First awarded to our campus in 2006 and now valid through 2032, the designation places UNO among an elite group of institutions and is a testament to our longstanding commitment to community engagement.
