Looking to communicate your passion for historic preservation in a paid internship this summer? Consider a National Council for Preservation Education/National Park Service-sponsored internship at the Midwest Regional Office in Omaha. The internships are available for current or recently-graduated History, Architecture, Landscape Architecture or Anthropology students interested in or considering a career with the National Park Service.
You could be the editor and featured writer of "Exceptional Places," MWRO's newsletter that highlights National Historic Landmarks of the Midwest. Some travel is involved and will be paid by the internship, a housing stipend is included.
You will have the opportunity to design, develop text, and photograph the historic properties be included in the “Explore” brochure that will highlight an urban area within the Midwest that contains properties from several programs the Historic Preservation Partnerships team works with. Travel to the highlighted area is expected and will be paid by the internship, a housing stipend is included.
