Annual Review
With the new year, the time for faculty annual reviews has arrived. All full-time faculty are required to participate in the annual review process through the Watermark Faculty Success (WFS) platform by entering their professional activities and then submitting their reports digitally. Key dates in the annual review process:
January 7th: Annual review process kick-off with email to full-time faculty from SVC
January 12th: Updates to WFS workflow due from colleges to Dan O’Dell in SIDA
February 13th: Faculty reports on 2025 activities and 2026 goals and objectives (i.e., Attachments I and II) due to chairs and directors
March 13th: Chairs and directors evaluation of faculty (i.e., Attachments III and IV) due to deans
April 1st: Recommendations for salary increases based on satisfactory performance due to faculty
Faculty Workload Updates
Faculty workload updates for Spring 2026 will be due in SAP by February 15th. Information on the revised faculty workload apportionment process as well as college level reports on apportionment data in SAP will be distributed in mid-January.

The Coaching Collaborative, a Weitz Innovation Initiative housed in the Center for Faculty Excellence, supports UNO faculty and staff in student engagement, retention, and success. It offers free, confidential coaching for full-time faculty and staff to build confidence, identify goals, develop skills, and navigate workplace challenges. Two coaching options are available: strengths-based coaching and personal and professional coaching. Between July and December 2025, more than 75 individuals participated. Faculty and staff are encouraged to take advantage of this resource.

The Engaged & Empowered workshop series launches this fall to build civic knowledge, leadership skills, and pathways to action. Held monthly on the second Tuesday from 11 A.M. to Noon, sessions are open to all in partnership with UNO’s Office of Engagement, Volunteer and Civic Engagement Center and Civic Nebraska.
