The UNO community mourns, and remembers, a true visionary in Walter Scott, Jr., whose decades of contributions to the university and the city of Omaha have impacted so many. Scott passed away Saturday, Sept. 25, at the age of 90.
“These dreams I had were a lot more accessible to me than I thought, and even when I didn’t feel that way, the community at UNO would do anything to make sure that it’s within reach.”
