CELEBRATE – you successfully finished the year. After your celebration, you can consider the following summer offerings.
Register for Camp Completion,May 20-24.Join us for an immersive writing experience from 9-3. You’ll have the opportunity to write along with colleagues who will support you, and hold you accountable. You can also schedule time with writing consultants. Meet in person on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (breakfast and lunch provided). Your choice for virtual participation or a quiet writing space on campus on Tuesday and Thursday.
Sign up for the Service Learning Seminar, July 15-19 (earn $400 in PD funds). Join UNO colleagues, P-12 educators, and community partners to learn about this high-impact pedagogy.
Consider taking Summer AI Courses (earn $150 in PD funds/course)—two, three-week courses offering something for beginners and more advanced AI users.
Many UNO student services continue to offer support over the summer. Remind students that they shouldn’t hesitate to reach out for support.
UNO will onboard 45-50 new faculty this summer. I know you’ll greet them with a friendly smile. I hope you also reflect on all your accomplishments since you went through the onboarding process.
