Teaching Tips

As you wind down the semester, consider the following.

  1. Thank students for their engagement and interest.
  2. If you learned something from students – tell them and say thanks (again).
  3. Encourage students to complete the end-of-course evaluation and tell them you value their feedback.
  4. Tell students you’re looking forward to seeing them on campus in the fall. If they haven’t yet enrolled – they can still do so.
  5. If you have students who are graduating, offer them your congratulations and celebrate that you were part of making their dream come true!

      Student Services Spotlight

We know the one element that ALL students have in common is their interactions with faculty. We also know that a suggestion from a faculty member is a key factor in getting students to seek assistance and guidance. When you talk with a student, send a personal email, or provide feedback that directs them to services, it matters. So, THANK YOU for taking the time to do this.

        UNO- Did You Know

Over the past decade, Baxter has provided a home for UNO athletic teams and held notable events such as a U.S. presidential visit, Olympic trials, concerts, performances, and community events.
