| View in browser Greetings From The Office of Digital Learning! The November edition of "Be In The Know" is designed to help you get a jump-start on your spring semester and fill you in on new information! In this newsletter you'll learn about: importing previous course content in Canvas two new Canvas features: Sticky Navigation and Text Entry Word Count the Office of Digital Learning's November workshops Don't forget we are here to help; at the bottom of this newsletter, you will find links where you can schedule one-on-one meetings with our Instructional Designers or Technologists and stop by our virtual drop-in room! Tech Tip of the Month Spring classes are now available! The November tech tips will show you how to import previous course content in Canvas. Click the images below to learn how you can import an entire Canvas course or how to import individual items in Canvas. Canvas Updates In October, Canvas Implemented sticky navigation which allows you to always see the course navigation, even when scrolling to the bottom of the page. One of the newest features coming at the end of November is the word count within SpeedGrader for assignments submitted using the text entry box! To learn about the new features, click the images below. November Workshops The Office of Digital Learning is hosting a variety of workshops in the month of November. Check out our "Get a Jump on January" series, the IT Allies series, and the workshop we are running with the Center for Faculty Excellence and Accessibility Services! Get a Jump on January! The Office of Digital Learning will be offering daily workshops November 8th-November 11th to help you get a jump on your Spring courses.
