Note from the Dean header

This summer, we celebrated and thanked Dr. Nancy Edick as she stepped down from her role as dean for a year-long sabbatical and return to teaching in Fall '24. The college launched our Annual Report a few months early to coincide with this transition and to honor Dr. Edick's many invaluable contributions to campus and the community, spanning her fourteen years as dean.

I am so pleased to serve as interim dean for the '23-24 academic year with support from my associate dean colleagues, Dr. Kris Swain and Dr. Jason Coleman. I look forward to our continued work together this year, ensuring that CEHHS continues to be an impressive, collective voice. Additionally, I'm excited to help facilitate our teaching, research, and service impacts, as well as workforce contributions, to the fields of education, health, and human sciences.

CEHHS is indeed a VERY special place, and I hope you enjoy reading the stories of our students, faculty, and programs. Thanks again to Dr. Edick in helping to create this extraordinary environment, where each one of us has the power to make a profound and positive impact on the lives of others.
