UNO has two new resources related to communicating with students that are great for C/Ds, and please share with your faculty and staff.
1. UNO is launching Ask Durango, an SMS based chatbot that helps students find answers about campus resources, academics, and events 24/7. Durango will also check in with students throughout the semester. It goes live the week of November 3.
2. A decision-making flowchart designed to help you identify whether to refer students to DASH, ASC, or the Care Team.
Please forward to the faculty members in your unit.
Grade Nudge Training Program - Grade Nudge, an app that sends customized e-mails to students indicating how an upcoming assignment or exam will impact a student's overall grade, has been shown to increase student grade performance by a half-letter grade beyond reminder emails.
