Senior Project Presentations
May 10th, 12 - 2 PM, DSC 143
Come see your fellow physics majors present their 10-minute presentations on the outcomes of their senior project. Students will present about: Hubble charts, python models for ionization, deployable radiator structures for small satellites, inorganic salts, and more.
We will be hosting an American Modeling Teachers Association workshop for High School teachers on topics in E&M this summer. Local teachers use the following code for a 100% discount: 24OMAHA. Graduate credit will be available. Pre-service teachers are also welcome.
This week, the Physics Department completed its first external program review since 2017. The review team interviewed students, faculty, staff, and administrators and will be compiling recommendations for continual improvement over the coming weeks. Thanks to everyone that helped demonstrate the strength of our department!
Have an event that you would like to share with the rest of the physics program? An announcement or student spotlight? Let us know.
