    Upcoming Academic Administrator Training (AAT): No registration required

    • Media Relations: Sept. 5, 9:00 – 12:00, CPACS 132/132D
    • Faculty Landscape Analysis and Coaching (Guest speaker – Jennifer Askey): Sept. 26, 9:00 – 12:00, CEC 230

    Develop Your Coaching Skills: Learn from a professional coach how to have conversations with faculty and staff. Sept 26, 1:00 - 4:00, CEC 230 - Register in Bridge.

     

    Completion CaFE for C/Ds: No registration required: Sept. 12, 11:30- 2:00, Faculty Study Lounge (Criss Library – 3rd floor)

    A new monthly opportunity to join other C/Ds for uninterrupted work time to help you complete a task of your choice. No formal presentation. Just work time, coffee, and camaraderie.

     

    Faculty Search Training has been refreshed.

    All training is now delivered via a 90-minute Bridge course. Access the training by emailing the Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE) to request registration. Can’t remember if you or your faculty members need the training? Contact CFE at unocfe@unomaha.edu.

            A new monthly opportunity to join other faculty members for uninterrupted work time. Come and work on grading, manuscripts, conference proposals, RPT files – whatever you need to complete. No agenda. Just work time, coffee, and camaraderie.

             

            TANDEM applications are due September 15. Second- and third-year faculty members are eligible and will be matched with a mentor outside of their home unit. We are also recruiting mentors. Applications can be submitted using the following links. Questions can be directed to CFE at unocfe@unomaha.edu.

            Communities of Practice professional development incentives have increased from $100 to $200. Apply using the following link: Communities of Practice.

             

            UCAT and Digital Learning are again offering incentivized teaching observations. Observe a class taught by a peer from outside your unit (in-person and online options are available), and each faculty member will earn $300. If you don’t have a partner, we will find one for you. Submit your application at this link – Faculty Observation of Teaching.

             

            TABS applications are open. Apply using this TABS link. Schedule TABS in time to document your participation in your fall RPT file and get results to include in the next annual review.
