During July's Staff Advisory Council general meeting, Myah Lanoux-Nguyen from UNO's Division of Innovative and Learning-Centric Initiatives (ILCI) joined to discuss the Open AI Challenge initiative. The ILCI department are seeking proposals that cultivate creativity, enhance engagement, and improve efficiency, with priority given to projects that complement our goal of using AI to accelerate the business operations of the campus and differentiate the academic environment at UNO. Recipients of the Open AI Challenge will be asked to present their use cases and outcomes at the annual UNO AI Summit in the spring semester.
UNO employees are encouraged to use one hour on the first Friday of each month to explore an activity that helps them be inventive, creative, and energized. How will you spend your hour on August 2?
All UNO staff are invited to the monthly general Staff Advisory Council meetings, held the second Tuesday of every month from 9 to 10:30 A.M.
