During the Three-Week January Session ("J-Term"), Jan. 2-21, current faculty and staff members will receive free access to the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center. Faculty and Staff who come in nine times during this period will receive 20% off a full-access semester membership, or $10 off a semester block membership.

The University of Nebraska Board of Regents presented Cara Ortega with a KUDOS Award for her ability to think creatively to problem solve and support students. As the Associate Registrar in the Office of the University Registrar, Ortega is known for going above and beyond expectations in everything that she does.
Brenda Frye, Accounting Technician in the Milo Bail Student Center Business Office, was named UNO Employee of the Month for November 2023. Frye was recognized by her colleagues for her positive attitude and willingness to support others.
Mason Hatfield, Senior Graphic Designer in the Office of Strategic Marketing and Communications (MarComm), has been named UNO Employee of the Month for December 2023. Hatfield was recognized by his colleagues for his expertise, collaborative spirit, and sense of humor.
