Campus Recreation & Wellness invites you to participate in Recreational Sports and Fitness Day on February 22:
All faculty and staff get free access to the facility for the day with their MavCARD
Engage with our Outdoor Venture Center either in the climbing wall or the rental center table and receive a 25% outdoor equipment rental for future use
Show your skills at the free throw line at the Intramural Sport free throw competition from 1 to 4 PM in 128 H&K
Plus, if you participate in a group fitness class, you will be entered to win a prize. Sign up for group classes ahead of time starting February 9.
UNO employees are encouraged to use one hour on the first Friday of each month to explore an activity that helps them be inventive, creative, and energized. How will you spend your hour on February 2?
All UNO staff are invited to the monthly general Staff Advisory Council meetings, held the second Tuesday of every month from 9 to 10:30 A.M. Most meetings have both a virtual and in-person option. Click the link for upcoming locations.

Nominations are open through February 29 for the 2024 Joyce Crockett Promoting Diversity in STEM Staff Achievement Award. The nominee should be a UNO staff member who has significantly contributed or brought attention to issues affecting women in STEM. Click the link for more information.
Mary Kate Hoffmann, MSW, LICSW, a Senior Licensed Mental Health Practitioner in UNO Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), has been named UNO's Employee of the Month for January 2024. Hoffmann was praised for her dedication to supporting the UNO community, willingness to collaborate with others, and ability to encourage her colleagues.
