NOMINATIONS OPEN FOR SAC!

The UNO Staff Advisory Council (SAC) is seeking nominations for 15 outstanding staff members to join SAC! The campus-wide election will be held for all UNO employees to vote on nominees in May. You may nominate another employee or yourself (or both)! Members serve a three-year term. Commitments include SAC meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at 9 A.M. and participation in one SAC Committee. Nominations due by April 15.

Staff Recognition

Staff Recognition Awards | Deadline April 1

The Staff Advisory Council is soliciting nominations for its annual Unsung Hero, Above & Beyond, and SAC Recognition Awards. Nominate a fellow staff member (or more than one) by April 1. Each awardee receives $500 and will be recognized at a May 1 ceremony.

Upcoming Events

First Friday Wellness Hour | April 5

UNO employees are encouraged to use one hour on the first Friday of each month to explore an activity that helps them be inventive, creative, and energized. How will you spend your hour on April 5?

SAC General Meeting | April 9

All UNO staff are invited to the monthly general Staff Advisory Council meetings, held the second Tuesday of every month from 9 to 10:30 A.M. This month we will be at the CEC 201/205 All staff welcome! 

Employee of the Month

March | Percilla Rodarte

Percilla Rodarte, Custodian for UNO Custodial Services, has been named UNO’s Employee of the Month for March 2024. Rodarte was praised for the kindness and concern she extends to others, as well as her attention to detail.
