Don’t miss this fun night out—grab your tickets now!   The game kicks-off April 19th at 6:30 P.M. in the Liberty First Credit Union Arena!   Volleyball After Dark Double-Header \| April 25 Valid through April 23rd, Faculty and staff can set themselves up with discounted tickets by getting two matches with one ticket!   Your Omaha Mavericks will play against the Creighton Bluejays at 5 P.M. whereas the Omaha Supernovas will play against the Columbus Fury at 8 P.M.   Don’t miss this amazing night out—grab your tickets now!   Both matches take place April 25th in the CHI Health Center! SAC General Meeting \| May 13 All UNO staff are invited to the monthly general Staff Advisory Council meetings, held the second Tuesday of every month from 9 to 10:30 A.M.   This month we will be at the Community Engagement Center (CEC), room 231. If you're unable to join us in-person, you are welcome to join us via Zoom! 📣 Summer Dining Update Most campus dining locations will pause operations over the summer due to reduced foot traffic. However, a few options will remain open with limited hours and will continue serving students, faculty, and staff on Dodge and Scott campuses: Durango’s Grill (11 A.M. – 2 P.M.) Maverick Den C-Store (7:30 A.M. – 2 P.M.)  Please note that the UNO Food Policies remain unchanged during this time. Employee of the Month March \| Joe Hobza Joe Hobza, Custodian for Environmental Services, has been named March 2025 Employee of the Month.   Hobza was praised for his strong work ethic, adaptability, and overall positive attitude, which influences the whole Environmental Services team.   Congratulations, Joe! 🎉 Advisor of the Month March \| Spencer French Spencer French, Academic Advisor in the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences, has been named March 2025 Advisor of the Month by the Academic Advising Council (AAC).   French was praised for his infectious positive attitude and ability to build strong relationships.    Congratulations, Spencer! 👏🏼 Nominate a UNO Staff Member for Employee of the Month and/or KUDOS Award Do you know a UNO colleague who continues to go above and beyond expectations? Someone who excels in interpersonal skills and communication with others? The Maverick Run Walk, run, or cheer—just don’t miss the Maverick Run on Saturday, April 26 at Baxter Arena! From a 5K to a kids’ dash, there’s something for everyone and yes, it counts toward your UNO Acts of Service Passport. Schedule: • 8:30 A.M. – 1-Mile Kids Race • 9:00 A.M. – 5K Run & 5K Walk Sign up now and show your Maverick spirit in motion!
