University of Nebraska President Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D., has opted not to accept the merit-based portion of his salary, which the Board of Regents approved on August 14. Instead, he has requested that the funds be redirected to support programs across the university's campuses.
SAC requested a review of the Temp Pay policy to improve efficiency and equity amongst staff on campus. Human Resources has provided a revised policy for UNO, effective September 2.
Sierra Roseby, associate director of the Office of Student Leadership and Involvement, was awarded for her dedication to student success, collaborative spirit, and commitment to supporting Mavericks.

SAC has been distributing a UNO tumbler to staff who were eligible for the former peer-to-peer recognition program, People are Everything. We have connected with half of staff, and will continue to distribute in the coming weeks.
