The Staff Advisory Council recognizes outstanding staff members who demonstrate exceptional dedication, leadership, and impact within the university community through three annual awards. These awards honor individuals who demonstrate wholehearted dedication to their work, their colleagues, the students, and the UNO campus.

Winners are announced at the Annual Awards Celebration on May 8th; awardees are selected by the Staff Advisory Council and will receive a physical and a monetary award.
As a reminder, nominations for the Staff Advisory Council (SAC) General Member Elections open March 3 and close March 14. SAC represents UNO staff, advocating for workplace improvements and fostering a stronger campus community.

All UNO staff are invited to the monthly general Staff Advisory Council meetings, held the second Tuesday of every month from 9 to 10:30 A.M. This month we will be at the Community Engagement Center (CEC), room 201. If you're unable to join us in-person, you are welcome to join us via Zoom! π£
UNO Athletics is hosting a food drive throughout the month of February. They are competing against all the other schools in the Summit League. UNO is currently in third place!

Nia Martinez, Academic Advisor in the College of Business Administration has been named January 2025 Advisor of the Month by the Academic Advising Council (AAC).
