SAC is now accepting nominations for our annual staff awards, recognizing UNO employees who demonstrate exceptional dedication, leadership, and impact. Winners receive both a physical and monetary award and will be honored at the Annual Awards Celebration on May 8.
All UNO staff are invited to the monthly general Staff Advisory Council meetings, held the second Tuesday of every month from 9 to 10:30 A.M. This month we will be at the Community Engagement Center (CEC), room 201. If you're unable to join us in-person, you are welcome to join us via Zoom! đź“Ł
UNO Athletics food drive is still open! They are competing against all the other schools in the Summit League. UNO is currently in second place!

Rachel Radel, Manager of Employee Relations, Development, and Talent Acquisition, and Ellie Luna, Talent Acquisition Onboading and Operations Specialist, have BOTH been named February 2025 Employee of the Month.
Both Radel and Luna were praised for their successful implementation of SuccessFactors.
Nick Zimmerman, Academic Advisor in the Maverick Advising Center has been named February 2025 Advisor of the Month by the Academic Advising Council (AAC).
Zimmerman was praised for his joyfulness and passion for helping students.
