Bio Nebraska and Bio Nebraska Foundation have launched the Women in Bioscience Scholarship for the 2024-25 academic year. This scholarship is open to women in Nebraska who are pursuing an associate or undergraduate degree in a bioscience-related field at a Nebraska university, college, or community college as a freshman or sophomore in the 2024-2025 academic year.

The Joyce Crockett Promoting Diversity in STEM Staff Achievement Award

 

Deadline: February 29

 

Nominees for the 2024 Joyce Crockett Promoting Diversity in STEM Staff Achievement Award have brought attention to diversity and inclusion issues in the field of STEM through activity/research, advising, advancement, education, and numerous other areas. The nominee should have been employed at UNO for a minimum of two years (other part-time exemplary employees may be considered).

Thanks for the visit, Dr. Li! Dr. Joanne Li, UNO chancellor, visited the STEM TRAIL Center's new home in Roskens Hall recently.  By June, the newly renovated space will be home to three innovative classrooms that will host approximately 2,000 Omaha-area youth and 2,400 UNO students per year.
