🌌 Storytime Under the Stars at the UNO Planetarium 🌠 The Mallory Kountze Planetarium is excited to host its first-ever Storytime Under the Stars on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 6:00 PM!
Join us for a cozy evening of storytelling and stargazing in the Planetarium. Kids are encouraged to wear their comfiest pajamas and bring a favorite stuffed animal, pillow, or blanket. 🧸
A live narrator will read beloved picture books as the pages are projected onto the Planetarium dome, bringing the stories to life for the whole family. Between stories, a presenter will guide guests through the seasonal constellations visible right here in Nebraska.

🙌 Get involved and make a difference! Volunteer to supervise an event or help out in one of several essential roles that make our State Tournament a success.
Event Supervisors serve as judges for their assigned events and are considered subject matter experts. Depending on the event, supervisors may write and grade exams or judge experiments and engineering contraptions.
We are also looking for volunteers to help with:
Assisting an Event Coordinator
Team check-in
Supporting attendees
Awards ceremony support
Event setup and logistics
