Student Eclipse Ambassadors Needed

The STEM TRAIL Center and the Planetarium are looking for undergraduates to serve as Eclipse Ambassadors. Students get a stipend plus NASA covers the cost of team travel, training, resources, etc.

Physics Faculty Honored at Convocation

Drs. Mei and Moore are being honored at this years Faculty Convocation in September. Dr. Mei has been named an Isaacson Professor on the basis of outstanding performance in research. Dr. Moore has been renewed as Haddix Community Chair in Physical Science for his work on teacher education.

    Biophysics Group Publishes

    Dr. Krasnoslobodtsev's biophysics research group recently published an article in Nanoscale Advances on silver nanoclusters. Collaborating on this paper were physics majors Liam Yourston and Nolan Marshall, and postdoctoral fellow Akhilesh Gupta.
