The publication is produced in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1990, 20 U.S.C. Sec 1092. It includes information relating to crime statistics and policies concerning public safety.
The UNO Public Safety website includes helpful Safety Tips and information on how to report a non-emergency incident or concern. Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to review the information on a routine basis and contact Public Safety with questions or concerns by emailing unopublicsafety@unomaha.edu or calling dispatch at 402.554.2648.
As we enter Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we also want to highlight that UNO also offers confidential victim and survivor advocacy and resources in support of student safety, healing, empowerment, and wellbeing.
If you haven’t already signed up for UNO Alert text and email emergency notifications, sign up now. These alerts are our first method of notifying campus during a life-threatening or critical event on campus.
Thank you for working with Public Safety to keep UNO a safe campus where everyone can thrive. It takes all of us.
Sincerely,
Charlotte Evans
Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief of Police
