Our popular Humanizing Online Series is back! Join us for this 6-week course that examines why and how to humanize online learning. In a community with your peers, you will be introduced to topics of teaching presence and social presence. You will be encouraged to step outside your comfort zone to create content with tools that will infuse your students' learning with your warm presence and unlock authentic assessment options. Faculty who participate and complete the course will receive a $300 stipend.
Interested in learning effective strategies for developing and managing an online class? Join us for our Foundations of Teaching Online course! This course explores the impact of instructional pedagogy on student learning and how implementing simple strategies can help improve student achievement, motivation, and engagement.
This 3-month course is asynchronous and has a rolling start date. This course is available for all faculty except those who have completed Foundations of Teaching Online in the past. Participants receive a $1,000 stipend for successfully completing all discussions and assignments. Register below!

YuJa Basics
This session will introduce the new video platform and deliver an overview of the features in order for you to get started creating your own academic videos. Upcoming workshops are listed below.
In this session participants will learn how to create and distribute videos with embedded quiz questions and quizzes where students receive a grade based on the percentage of the video watched as well as how video quiz grades seamlessly feed from YuJa into the Canvas Gradebook. YuJa offers video editing capabilities and allows you to improve your media content. In this session participants will learn how to use the video editing tools in YuJa. January workshop dates are listed below. Upcoming dates are listed below.
